Enquiries and project communications
When you contact me by email or phone, I process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, company name and information about your enquiry or proposed project.
I use this information to respond to your message, discuss photography services and manage project-related communications.
Legal basis
Information needed to prepare a quotation or arrange photography services is processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to fulfil an existing contract.
Other correspondence is processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and managing professional communications.
Where information must be retained to meet accounting or other legal requirements, the legal basis is compliance with those obligations.
Service providers
This website is built and hosted using Framer. Email correspondence is handled through Google Workspace.
These providers process information as necessary to deliver their services. Other professional service providers, such as accounting advisers, may receive relevant information where necessary for business administration or legal obligations.
How long information is kept
Personal information is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is used.
Project records, contracts, image licences and permissions may be retained long-term where necessary to manage ongoing rights, fulfil agreements or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Photographs and related credits may be retained for ongoing portfolio and photographic archive purposes where there is an appropriate legal basis.
Enquiries and routine correspondence are reviewed periodically and deleted when they are no longer needed.
Accounting and tax records are retained for the periods required by Finnish law.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing or a copy of information in a portable format.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Website Analytics
This website uses Framer’s built-in analytics to understand overall website use, including page views, visitor counts and traffic sources.
According to Framer, the analytics information available to website owners is anonymised and cannot be traced back to an individual.
No Google Analytics or Meta advertising pixel is used on this website.
Contact & external links
This website provides email and telephone links rather than a contact form. Clicking an email link opens your email application; information you choose to send is processed to respond to your enquiry.
The website also links to external services, including Instagram. When you follow an external link, the destination website’s own privacy notice applies.
Browser storage
This website uses session storage to remember whether the introductory animation has already been shown during your visit. This prevents the intro from repeating as you browse.
The stored entry, “lv-intro”, contains a simple flag rather than your name or contact details.
